A handmade leather dog lead is one of the most important tools you can own as a dog owner. It needs to be strong enough to compete with a dog who pulls, but not so bulky that the lead is uncomfortable while being held.
Our luxury leather leads are handmade from exquisite Italian calf leather and feel gorgeously soft against your hand as you walk your dog.
Which colour would you like? There’s a whole rainbow of contemporary or traditional colours available so just pick your favourite and we’ll make the leather dog lead to order.
Italian leather is famous for its suppleness and strength. It’s robust enough to cope with even the most enthusiastic tuggers, so you won’t have to worry about premature fraying or wear.
We’ve incorporated a handy D-ring in the leather handle to allow you to clip the lead round your shoulder or waist while your dog is off lead.
The lead is approximately 1.2 metres long, but if you need a shorter or longer length just let us know when you place your order. Provided we have the right size leather hide in stock, we’ll be happy to accommodate you.
It’s available in a range of 4 widths so it will be suitable for any size of dog. Bear in mind that the narrow widths have a smaller clasp so if you have a giant breed, we recommend one of our wider options.

Our leather collars are made from genuine Italian calf leather sourced from the Veneto region of Italy.

We use stainless steel hardware so that you don't need to worry about rust.
Handmade in the UK
Every one of our collars and leads are made by hand to order in our Northumberland workshop.
Delivery Information
- Handmade to order, we aim to dispatch within 3-7 working days (Monday-Friday)
- UK Orders dispatched by Royal Mail Tracked 48, which normally takes 2-3 working days
- International Mail dispatched by Royal Mail International Tracked, then handed to local postal service in destination country. Timescales vary from country to country.
- Orders dispatched Monday - Friday
- IMPORTANT - We do not charge any VAT/taxes on orders for outside of the UK. As such international orders may be liable to customs or import duties upon arrival into the destination country. These charges are the responsibility of the buyer and will vary from country to country. Please check your local customs authority for more information.
