Add a touch of colour to every walk with our two tone leather dog lead, handmade to order in your chosen combination of colours. The contrasting shades create a striking finish, with one colour for the outside and another for the lining, brought together with stitching that matches the lining.
Crafted in our Northumberland workshop from premium Italian calf leather, this lead feels luxuriously soft in hand while offering the strength to handle even enthusiastic pullers. The leather becomes more supple with use, moulding to your grip over time without losing durability.
The lead measures approximately 1.2 metres and comes in four widths to suit any breed. Narrow widths are perfect for toy and small breeds, while wider options provide extra strength for medium to giant breeds. A built-in D-ring on the handle lets you clip the lead over your shoulder or around your waist when your dog is off lead. Pair it with a matching two tone leather collar for a coordinated set.
Save £10 when bought at the same time as one of our walking collars. See full offer details.
Can I match my two tone lead to my dog’s collar?
Yes. We can make your two tone leather dog lead in the same colour combination as your dog’s collar for a perfectly coordinated set. You choose one colour for the outer leather and one for the lining, making it easy to create a lead that complements your dog’s look.
Is leather a good choice for a dog lead?
Yes. High-quality leather is strong, comfortable to hold, and softens with use without losing its durability. It’s also less likely to cause friction burns than synthetic materials if your dog pulls suddenly.
What length lead is best for everyday walks?
A 1.2 metre lead is the most versatile for general walking, giving your dog enough freedom while keeping them close for control.
How do I choose the right width for my dog’s lead?
Small breeds are best suited to narrower leads for comfort and lighter clasps, while wider leads provide extra strength for medium to giant breeds. The right width balances comfort in your hand with security for your dog.
