Unsure about sizing?

It's easy to measure your dog for a Petiquette dog ID collar. The key thing to remember is that this style of collar needs to slide over the head, so it must be large enough to pass over the ears (which is usually the largest part of the head).
As long as you measure that part correctly, the collar should just fall naturally around your dog's neck.
Wrap a soft tape measure around the widest part of the head (this is normally around the ears). The collar needs to be large enough to slide over this point.
Measure the mid point of the neck fairly loosely.
Select a size as close to the largest measurement as possible.

The Slip-on Leather Dog ID Collar is a simple, lightweight way to ensure your dog’s identification tag is always visible. Designed to slide over the head without buckles or clasps, it offers a clean, minimalist look that’s comfortable for all-day wear.
Handmade to order in our Northumberland workshop, each collar is crafted from soft Italian leather, available in 28 vibrant colours. The leather is wrapped around a flexible cord to create a smooth, rounded profile that sits naturally on the neck.
At the centre is a fixed stainless steel, brass, or rose gold O-ring — the perfect spot for securely attaching your dog’s ID tag.

A house collar is designed specifically for 24/7 comfort and safety at home. Unlike standard walking collars, which can be bulky or heavy, our house collars are made from soft Italian calf leather and feature a lightweight, slim profile. This makes them gentle on the neck and ideal for carrying an ID tag without causing fur matting or irritation. Because they are non-adjustable and have no heavy buckles, they provide a secure, low-profile fit that most dogs barely notice they are wearing.
While your dog can certainly wear a house collar during walks for identification, you should never attach a lead to it. These collars are specifically designed to be lightweight and slim for indoor comfort. Because they are made for holding ID tags rather than restraint, the leather and hardware are not built to withstand the force of a dog pulling on a lead. For safety, always use a dedicated walking collar or harness when your dog is on a lead.
