How to measure for a Whippet collar
- Wrap a soft tape measure around the top of your dog’s neck—just behind the ears and under the chin.
- Note the measurement in inches — this is your dog's neck measurement.
- Choose the size where that measurement falls within the range, ideally towards the smaller end to allow for adjustment.
This is the narrowest part of your dog’s head, and measuring here helps reduce the risk of your Whippet slipping out of their collar.
Example:
If your dog's measurement is 12", choose the 11" to 13" size. This means the collar adjusts between 11 and 13 inches — it does not mean the total length of the collar is 13".
If measuring from an existing collar, measure from the end of the leather to the hole you use — not the total length of the collar. The total length will result in a collar that's too big.

The Park Lane rhinestone Whippet collar is handmade in soft Italian leather and finished with a single row of genuine Swarovski crystals—perfect for adding a touch of sparkle without going over the top.
Choose from 28 contemporary leather colours and your favourite crystal shade to create a collar that’s uniquely yours. Each collar is handmade to order and finished with stainless steel hardware that won’t tarnish or rust.
The collar is fully lined with supple calf leather and has gently rounded edges. It’s 1.75″ at its widest, and narrows to a 3/4″ buckle strap. You can also choose to add a hidden layer of soft padding for extra comfort.

FAQs
How long will my order take?
All collars and leads are made to order. We typically dispatch within 7 business days, with Royal Mail Tracked 48 adding 2–3 further working days in the UK. Most orders arrive within 5–10 working days. A dispatch notification is sent by email. If you need a collar by a specific date, contact us before ordering.
Can I exchange my collar if it doesn't fit?
Yes. If the collar doesn't fit when it arrives, you can exchange it for a different size. The most common reason for a poor fit is measuring the total length of an existing collar rather than the dog's neck directly. What type of collar is best for a Whippet?
Whippets are a sighthound breed, which means they have a narrow, tapered head that is slimmer than their neck. This is the opposite of most breeds, and it means a standard flat collar sized to fit the neck will simply slide straight off over the head. A sighthound collar solves this with a wider central section, often called a fishtail shape, which is broader than the neck when the collar is worn. This makes it more difficult for the collar to slip over the head, while the tapered ends sit neatly behind the ears for a comfortable, secure fit.

Are the crystals secure enough for everyday wear?
Every Swarovski crystal is individually secured by hand in our Northumberland workshop. We’ve had customers wearing the same Chaos Theory collar for years of daily walks without losing a stone. If you do ever lose one, get in touch and we’ll do our best to help.
