This padded Whippet collar is handmade from soft Italian leather and lined with an extra layer of luxurious padding for enhanced comfort—ideal for sighthounds with sensitive necks.
Choose two leather colours: one for the outer collar and one for the lining, then we’ll craft it to order in our Northumberland workshop. The collar measures 1.75″ at its widest point and tapers to a ¾” strap with a secure stainless steel buckle and D-ring.
The padded interior is wrapped in butter-soft calf leather, with smooth, rounded edges to prevent rubbing or irritation. It’s a smart option for daily wear, offering both durability and all-day comfort for Whippets and other slim-necked breeds.

How to measure for a Whippet collar
To measure your Whippet's neck for a leather collar, simply follow these steps:
- Wrap a soft tape measure so that it is fairly snug, just behind the ears and under the chin at the top of the neck as shown in the image and make a note of the measurement.

Choose the collar where the smallest number in the size range is as close to the neck measurement as possible.
- For example, the measurement is 10", so choose the 9" - 11".

- Handmade to order, we aim to dispatch within 3-7 working days (Monday-Friday)
- UK Orders dispatched by Royal Mail Tracked 48, which normally takes 2-3 working days
- International Mail dispatched by Royal Mail International Tracked, then handed to local postal service in destination country. Timescales vary from country to country.
