All of our leather whippet and sighthound collars are made with beautifully soft Italian calf leather which feels super comfy around your dog’s neck. We’ve upped the ante with our padded leather whippet collar though, giving a level of comfort your whippet will adore. A thick layer of sumptuously soft padding sits underneath the lining so that your hound will barely even know they’re wearing a collar.
The extra padding is perfect for dogs who may have extra sensitive necks as many sighthounds do.
Pick two colours of leather for your padded leather whippet collar, one for the outer part of the collar, and one for the lining. We’ll then make you a collar that your whippet will thank you for. Your padded hound collar will be 1.75″ wide (that’s roughly 4.5cm). The collar will taper down to a 3/4″ wide (2cm) strap and stainless steel buckle.

How to measure for a Whippet collar
To measure your Whippet's neck for a leather collar, simply follow these steps:
- Wrap a soft tape measure so that it is fairly snug, just behind the ears and under the chin at the top of the neck as shown in the image and make a note of the measurement.

Choose the collar where the smallest number in the size range is as close to the neck measurement as possible.
- For example, the measurement is 10", so choose the 9" - 11".

We use stainless steel hardware so that you don't need to worry about rust.

Every one of our collars and leads are made by hand to order in our Northumberland workshop.
Delivery Information
- Handmade to order, we aim to dispatch within 3-7 working days (Monday-Friday)
- UK Orders dispatched by Royal Mail Tracked 48, which normally takes 2-3 working days
- International Mail dispatched by Royal Mail International Tracked, then handed to local postal service in destination country. Timescales vary from country to country.
- Orders dispatched Monday - Friday
- IMPORTANT - We do not charge any VAT/taxes on orders for outside of the UK. As such international orders may be liable to customs or import duties upon arrival into the destination country.
