When it comes to our dogs, we want them to be as comfortable as possible, and that’s where our you padded leather dog collar comes in.  We’ve added a layer of super soft padding underneath the lining so that this leather collar will feel like your dog is being smothered in kisses.  The rounded edges of the padded collar mean no harsh rubbing against your dog’s coat.

Our padded leather dog collars are soft and strong, making them ideal for most breeds of dog.  If you have a small or toy breed though, you may want to check out our ultra soft padded collars, as they’re super lightweight and perfect for the smaller dog

How to measure for a leather dog collar

To measure your dog's neck for a leather collar, simply follow these steps:
  • Have your dog stand comfortably, hopefully they won’t wriggle too much, but if they do, then bribery with some tasty treats can help.
  • Wrap a soft tape measure or piece of string around the middle of your dog's neck so that it's touching the fur but it's not tight around the neck and make a note of this measurement.
  • Choose the collar where the smallest number in the size range is as close to the neck measurement as possible.
  • For example, the measurement is 11", so choose the 10.5"-12.5".

Alternatively, if you have an existing leather collar:
  • Measure the distance from the butt of the collar (where the buckle prong sticks out of the leather) to the hole that you use.
  • Pick a collar where the length you've measured is roughly in the middle of the collar size range.

Lovely collars

We ordered these padded collars for our 2 frenchies. We are repeat customers and always buy our collars from Petiquette but this is the first order for the padded collar. Padded Leather Dog Collar

Our little whippet Shyla has recently grown out of her leather puppy (petiquette) collar, therefore, we decided to upgrade to a Padded Leather collar which she wears whilst in her harness and travelling etc, all other times she wears her dusky pink Luxury Leather Whippet collar. When we measured her for her new collar, she was in-between standard sizes, therefore, we contacted Geoff at Petiquette and enquired as to whether he could make a bespoke collar for her, Geoff was very quick to reply that this wasn't a problem whatsoever and advised us how to complete the order with relevant size etc. Shyla is now the proud owner of a stunning new padded leather collar with Royal Purple as the lining colour and Dusky Pink as the outer colour.
