Example:
If your dog's neck measures 10", choose the 9" to 11" size. This means the collar adjusts between 9 and 11 inches — it does not mean the total length of the collar is 11".
If measuring from an existing collar, measure from the end of the leather to the hole you use — not the total length of the collar. The total length will result in a collar that's too big.

A quality leather dog collar should be something your dog can wear comfortably every day. We handcraft this padded leather collar in our workshop using the same premium Italian leather as the rest of our range, so it feels soft and flexible from the very first walk.
Inside, a layer of soft padding lines the collar for extra comfort. The rounded edges make this collar a lovely choice for breeds with longer or curly hair, helping to protect the coat where the collar rests and reduce the risk of matting.
With 28 leather colours to choose from for the outer and another 28 for the lining, you can make this collar your own. Classic black on the outside with a pop of teal underneath. Peanut butter and dove grey. Royal purple and baby pink. Go subtle, go bold, or let whoever in the house has the strongest opinions about the dog’s wardrobe make the call.
We make this collar in 9 sizes, from a 9″ neck up to a 26″ neck, and we match the collar width to the size you choose so the proportions are always right for your dog. Just measure the middle of your dog’s neck and pop the number into the sizing calculator. It takes about thirty seconds and it’s the easiest way to get the fit right first time.
Whether your dog is a sea swimmer or a mud roller, this collar is made for real life. We use solid stainless steel for the buckle, D-ring and eyelets, so you never have to worry about rust after a trip to the beach or a rainy walk.
Wrap a soft tape measure around the middle of the neck, so that it's loosely touching the fur. Don't add any fingers underneath the tape measure. If you don't have a tape measure, a piece of string and a ruler works just as well.

Yes. If the collar doesn't fit when it arrives, you can exchange it for a different size. The most common reason for a poor fit is measuring the total length of an existing collar rather than the dog's neck directly. Full details are on our returns and exchanges page at petiquettecollars.co.uk/returns.
A wipe with a damp cloth after muddy walks is usually enough to keep our leather collars looking good. For more stubborn stains, perhaps your dog has been rolling in fox poo, add a small amount of washing up liquid to the damp cloth and gently wipe the affected area. If your dog has been swimming, particularly in the sea, give the collar a wipe with a damp cloth afterwards to remove any residue or salt from the leather.
Yes, if fitted correctly. The soft padding and smooth leather make it comfortable for extended wear. However, some owners prefer to use a house collar indoors and reserve this padded collar for walks, to keep it in top condition and ensure the dog is always wearing an ID tag.
