Yes — some owners leave the house collar on during walks so their dog’s ID tag is always visible. However, it’s not designed for lead attachment, so you’ll still need a walking collar or harness for safety.
How to measure your dog for a house collar
It's easy to measure your dog for a Petiquette house collar. Ideally, they should be a little looser than a normal collar, and typically sit just below the mid-point of the neck. Follow the guide below and your dog will be have a tailored fit collar in no time at all.
- Wrap a soft tape measure below the mid point of the neck (under where a regular collar would sit). If you don't have a tape measure, a piece of string or wool will do, and lay it against a ruler.
- The tape measure should be a little loose around the fur and not be too tight.
- Select a size as close to the measurement as possible. If it's in between sizes we'd recommend opting for the larger size.
The total length of the collar will include the leather, the o-ring and the clasp.

- UK Orders dispatched by Royal Mail Tracked 48, which normally takes 2-3 working days
- International Mail dispatched by Royal Mail International Tracked, then handed to local postal service in destination country. Timescales vary from country to country.

Really good quality and fabulous colour house collar - great support/advice on sizing and fast delivery.
Bought this collar as I have a teeny tiny puppy and this company catered for the size I needed. It's perfect. The only criticism for me would be the clasp could be smaller on the smaller sized collars, but that's just my preference.
I had two of these for my recently departed dog and they are great. The colour range is expansive. I now have a golden retriever and this prevents rubbing on her gorgeous coat. We just us a slip to walk so her floof is protected from chunky collars
These house collars are lovely. They are soft, supple and colourful. They are very comfortable for the dogs to wear. We have had several over the years and the only issue we have ever had is that the spring clip is flimsy and inevitably breaks sooner or later. Possibly it’s due to its small size? Despite this, these are the best house collars for us & The clip can be swapped out when necessary.
