The Soft Rope House Collar is a light, adjustable collar designed to hold your dog’s ID tag when they’re relaxing at home. It’s comfortable for everyday wear and gives you peace of mind knowing your dog’s identification is always in place.
Made from lightweight PPM rope, each collar is finished with two sliding knots for a snug but gentle fit. The knots are easy to adjust, and if the collar ever catches on something, they’ll loosen under pressure for added safety.
Choose from 14 rope colours and three O-ring hardware finishes — brass, stainless steel, or rose gold — to suit your dog’s style.

What is a rope house collar?
A rope house collar is a lightweight, adjustable collar designed to hold your dog’s ID tag indoors. It’s more comfortable than a walking collar and ideal for everyday wear at home.
How does the safety feature work?
The sliding knots adjust easily and will loosen under pressure if the collar becomes caught on something, reducing the risk of injury.
What sizes and colours are available?
Two adjustable sizes: Regular (8″–17″) and Large (15″–28″). Available in 14 rope colours with brass, stainless steel, or rose gold hardware.
Can a rope house collar be worn outside?
Yes — it can be worn outdoors to display your dog’s ID tag, but it’s not designed for lead attachment. Use a walking collar or harness for walks.
How to measure your dog for a rope house collar
It's easy to measure your dog for a Petiquette rope house collar. Ideally, they should be a little looser than a normal collar, and typically sit just below the mid-point of the neck. Follow the guide below and your dog will be have a tailored fit collar in no time at all.
- Wrap a soft tape measure around the widest part of the head (this is normally around the ears). The collar needs to be large enough to slide over this point.
- Measure around your dog's neck where you'd like the collar to sit.
- The tape measure should be a little loose around the fur and not be too tight.
- Select the size where both measurements fit within.
Delivery Information
- Handmade to order, we aim to dispatch within 3-7 working days (Monday-Friday)
- UK Orders dispatched by Royal Mail Tracked 48, which normally takes 2-3 working days
- International Mail dispatched by Royal Mail International Tracked, then handed to local postal service in destination country. Timescales vary from country to country.

The EU
We are IOSS registered - this means that for orders up to €150, any VAT or import tax is collected at checkout, so it's already taken care of. You won’t need to pay anything extra when your parcel arrives, helping you avoid unexpected customs charges or delivery delays.

The US

UAE, Qatar, & Saudi Arabia
Due to issues with Royal Mail handing over to local postal services in the UAE, Qatar & Saudi Arabia, we only offer courier services to these destinations.
All other international destinations
For all destinations outside of the USA and the EU we do not add any taxes or duties on international orders, which means that for delivery outside the United Kingdom they may be subject to import duties and taxes.
