This nautical Whippet collar is handmade in soft Italian leather and finished with hand-stitched leather anchor motifs—perfect for sea-loving sighthounds who like to stand out on dry land too.
Choose your main leather colour, then pick a contrasting shade for the anchors to create a playful, maritime-inspired look. Every collar is made to order in our Northumberland workshop with a strong leather core for durability and long-lasting structure.
The collar is fully lined with smooth calf leather and shaped in a classic fishtail style, offering comfortable support for slender necks. Rounded edges help prevent rubbing, and the colour-fast leather means no staining, even on rainy days.
It measures 1.75″ at the widest point and tapers to a ¾” strap with a secure stainless steel buckle and D-ring.

How to measure for a Whippet collar
To measure your Whippet's neck for a leather collar, simply follow these steps:
- Wrap a soft tape measure so that it is fairly snug, just behind the ears and under the chin at the top of the neck as shown in the image and make a note of the measurement.

Choose the collar where the smallest number in the size range is as close to the neck measurement as possible.
- For example, the measurement is 10", so choose the 9" - 11".
Delivery Information
- Handmade to order, we aim to dispatch within 3-7 working days (Monday-Friday)
- UK Orders dispatched by Royal Mail Tracked 48, which normally takes 2-3 working days
- International Mail dispatched by Royal Mail International Tracked, then handed to local postal service in destination country. Timescales vary from country to country.
