Description

A stylish braided dog collar for everyday

Our braided dog collar is ideal for those who want something a little more flashy than a simple leather collar, but perhaps don’t want the bling of a crystal collar.

We use high quality paracord in a choice of 15 colours for the Mexican basketweave braiding. It’s soft to the touch, yet strong and easy to clean, there are even six colours with a glittery effect if you love a little glitz!

The braided leather dog collar is a little wider; 1″ (25mm) for smaller sizes, and 1.25″ (32mm) wide for medium to large sizes, and tapers to a narrower buckle so it can be worn by most dogs, especially those with slightly longer necks.

For that extra touch of luxury, we’ve added a layer of soft padding underneath the lining giving your dog the most comfortable collar they’ll have ever worn.

How to measure for a leather dog collar

To measure your dog's neck for a leather collar, simply follow these steps:

Have your dog stand comfortably, hopefully they won’t wriggle too much, but if they do, then bribery with some tasty treats can help.
Wrap a soft tape measure or piece of string around the middle of your dog's neck so that it's touching the fur but it's not tight around the neck and make a note of this measurement.
Choose the collar where the smallest number in the size range is as close to the neck measurement as possible.
For example, the measurement is 11", so choose the 10.5"-12.5".

Alternatively, if you have an existing leather collar:

Measure the distance from the butt of the collar (where the buckle prong sticks out of the leather) to the hole that you use.
Pick a collar where the length you've measured is roughly in the middle of the collar size range.

Beautiful Collar.

Another beautiful collar to add to our collection. Really well made and good quality. The braiding on this collar is so well done and really shows up against the leather. My husband was rather generous with the measurement for this collar so have now ordered a size down but will keep this first one as our Standard Poodle is still growing. Well done Petiquette again, you still produce the best collars and leads.
