Butterfly Concho Wide Whippet Collar
This wide Whippet collar features a beautifully detailed antique-style butterfly concho set into soft Italian leather—perfect for sighthounds who like a collar with character and charm.
Choose from 28 contemporary leather colours and we’ll handcraft your collar to order in our Northumberland workshop. The butterfly concho is securely riveted in place by hand to ensure it stays put, even on your most adventurous walks.
Fully lined with smooth calf leather, the collar is designed for all-day comfort with softly rounded edges to prevent rubbing or irritation. Over time, the leather will become even softer while retaining its strength and structure.
The classic fishtail shape offers gentle support for delicate necks. The collar measures 1.75″ at its widest point and tapers to a ¾” strap with a stainless steel buckle and D-ring for secure lead attachment.

How to measure for a Whippet collar
To measure your Whippet's neck for a leather collar, simply follow these steps:
- Wrap a soft tape measure so that it is fairly snug, just behind the ears and under the chin at the top of the neck as shown in the image and make a note of the measurement.

Choose the collar where the smallest number in the size range is as close to the neck measurement as possible.
- For example, the measurement is 10", so choose the 9" - 11".
Delivery Information
- Handmade to order, we aim to dispatch within 3-7 working days (Monday-Friday)
- UK Orders dispatched by Royal Mail Tracked 48, which normally takes 2-3 working days
- International Mail dispatched by Royal Mail International Tracked, then handed to local postal service in destination country. Timescales vary from country to country.

The EU
We are IOSS registered - this means that for orders up to €150, any VAT or import tax is collected at checkout, so it's already taken care of. You won’t need to pay anything extra when your parcel arrives, helping you avoid unexpected customs charges or delivery delays.
Unfortunately, due to IOSS regulations, we're unable to process orders to the EU over €150 at this time.
The US
Since August 29th 2025, all orders to the United States are subject to the new Trump tariffs. We automatically calculate and add the tariff and customs duties to your order at checkout, so there are no surprise charges when your collar arrives.
UAE, Qatar, & Saudi Arabia
Due to issues with Royal Mail handing over to local postal services in the UAE, Qatar & Saudi Arabia, we only offer courier services to these destinations.
All other international destinations
For all destinations outside of the USA and the EU we do not add any taxes or duties on international orders, which means that for delivery outside the United Kingdom they may be subject to import duties and taxes.
