How to measure for a Sighthound collar
- Wrap a soft tape measure around the top of your dog’s neck—just behind the ears and under the chin.
- Note the measurement in inches — this is your dog's neck measurement.
- Choose the size where that measurement falls within the range, ideally towards the smaller end to allow for adjustment.
This is the narrowest part of your dog’s head, and measuring here helps reduce the risk of your Whippet slipping out of their collar.
Example:
If your dog's measurement is 12", choose the 11" to 13" size. This means the collar adjusts between 11 and 13 inches — it does not mean the total length of the collar is 13".
If measuring from an existing collar, measure from the end of the leather to the hole you use — not the total length of the collar. The total length will result in a collar that's too big.

We print the design directly onto the leather using our UV printer, creating a collar that works just as hard on a muddy Tuesday morning walk as it does when you want your hound to look their best.

US Orders Trump tariffs apply to all US orders from 29th August 2025. Tariffs and customs duties are calculated and added at checkout, so there are nothing extra to pay on arrival.

Return postage is your responsibility unless the item is faulty. Postage costs are non-refundable on change-of-mind returns. For US orders, tariffs and duties are non-refundable.

FAQs
How long will my order take?
All collars and leads are made to order. We typically dispatch within 3–7 working days, with Royal Mail Tracked 48 adding 2–3 further working days in the UK. Most orders arrive within 5–10 working days. A dispatch notification is sent by email. If you need a collar by a specific date, contact us before ordering.
Can I exchange my collar if it doesn't fit?
Yes. If the collar doesn't fit when it arrives, you can exchange it for a different size. The most common reason for a poor fit is measuring the total length of an existing collar rather than the dog's neck directly. How do I clean a printed leather collar
Keeping one of our printed leather sighthound collars clean is easy. Simply wipe the collar gently with a damp cloth or sponge to remove any muck and grime. For more stubborn marks, add a drop of washing up liquid to your sponge and clean the collar with that. Make sure you remove any soap residue after cleaning, and allow the collar to dry naturally away from direct heat. As with all leather, to keep it in tip-top condition, it's a good idea to use a little leather balsam or unscented moisturiser every now and again.
Will the print last with daily use?
Yes. The printed design is applied using a UV printer with flexible, durable inks directly onto the leather surface. This isn't a printed paper insert or a heat-transfer sticker, the ink bonds with the leather and flexes with it as the collar moves. The collar is designed and worn as a daily collar, not just for special occasions. That said, like any leather collar, avoiding prolonged soaking (think sea swimming or extended submersion) will keep it looking its best for longer.
Which sighthound breeds does this collar fit?
The eight sizes cover the full range of sighthound builds, from the smallest Italian Greyhound (neck from 7.5 inches) through whippets and standard greyhounds, up to the largest greyhound size (neck up to 15.5 inches). It's also suitable for lurchers, salukis, Afghan hounds, borzoi, and any other breed with a long neck and a head narrower than the neck. If you have a breed that doesn't fall neatly into one of those categories, a big lurcher cross, for example, get in touch and we'll help you work out the right size.
