Which Swarovski Collar Is Right for Your Dog?

We make every Swarovski collar to order. You choose the design you like, then pick from the leather and crystal colours available for that style. Some designs have a single row of crystals for a more understated look, while others are covered from edge to edge for maximum impact. If you’d like a matching lead, many designs can be made with one to complete the set.

You might think a sparkly collar will disappear under a thick coat, but it won’t. It’s the way the light hits the crystal facets as your dog moves that makes the sparkle show up, even when the collar isn’t fully visible. How to measure your dog's neck for a Swarovski dog collar

All Swarovski dog collars in this collection are flat collars, so they all use the same measuring method.

• Use a soft tape measure (or a piece of string) and wrap it around the middle of your dog’s neck.

• Make sure it’s fairly snug against the fur but not tight. No need to add fingers underneath – we’ve already allowed for a comfy fit in the sizing.

• This is your dog’s neck measurement.

Now check our Flat Dog Collar Size Guide and choose a collar where your dog’s neck measurement sits close to the smallest hole in the size range.

Example:
If your dog’s neck measures 10", you’ll need a collar listed as 9"–11", as this adjusts between 9 and 11 inches.

PLEASE DON’T MEASURE THE FULL LENGTH OF AN EXISTING COLLAR – this is not your dog’s neck measurement and will result in a collar that’s too big.

Q. Are Swarovski dog collars suitable for everyday use?

Yes. We make every Swarovski collar to be worn regularly, not just for special occasions. The crystals are set securely into the leather using a vacuum press, not glue, so they stay in place through walks, play, and everyday chaos. The leather softens with use, and the stainless steel hardware will not rust, even with the odd splash in the sea.

Q. Will the crystals show on long haired or curly coated dogs?

Yes. The crystals reflect the light as your dog moves, which makes them visible even when the collar itself is partly hidden by fur. On fluffy or curly coats, brighter or clear crystals often reflect more light and give stronger flashes of colour.

Q. Are Swarovski dog collars only for small breeds, or do you make them for larger dogs too?

We make Swarovski dog collars in sizes to fit most breeds, from tiny Chihuahuas through to medium and larger dogs like Staffies or Labradors. Slimmer widths are used for small necks, while wider cuts suit dogs with more strength or bulk. Because each one is made to order, your dog’s collar is always sized properly.

Q. Can male dogs wear Swarovski crystal collars?

Yes. Many owners choose bold colour combinations like red with black leather, sapphire with navy, or clear crystals on grey. Swarovski crystals are precision cut in Austria to maximise light reflection, which makes them eye-catching in any colour. There is nothing feminine about them. If you like how it looks, that is reason enough.

Q. What is the difference between rhinestone collars and Swarovski collars?

Rhinestones is a general term for imitation crystals, but quality varies widely. Cheaper collars often use acrylic or plastic stones that are glued on and fall off quickly. We only use genuine Swarovski crystals, which are precision cut in Austria. Each one is pressed into the leather with a vacuum machine and held securely, giving a clearer shine and much longer life.

Q. Can I choose the leather and crystal colours?

Yes. Every collar is made to order, so you can choose the leather colour, one or two crystal colours, and even ask for a matching lead. If you are unsure which colours work well together, we are happy to offer advice before you order.
