A Whippet dog collar with a contemporary twist
The Line Dancer leather whippet dog collar is a simple yet stylish collar, specially created to complement the natural elegance of your sighthound.
Handmade from glossy Italian leather, it features a stitched raised line running along the middle of the collar. Just choose your favourite leather colour from our wide range of contemporary shades and we will make the collar to order.
We use only the highest quality, colour-fast Italian leather for our whippet collars so rest assured that it will stay put on the collar and won’t stain your dog’s neck, even in the wettest weather.
All Petiquette leather whippet collars are designed for comfort and durability. They are fully lined with the same butter-soft Italian calf leather for a luxuriously soft feel against your dog’s neck. A strong leather core ensures that your collar will last the distance.
To provide that all-important neck support, our whippet collars are designed in a fishtail shape. Your collar will measure 1¾” at its widest point, tapering to a ¾” strap, buckle and D-ring.

How to measure for a Whippet collar
To measure your Whippet's neck for a leather collar, simply follow these steps:
- Wrap a soft tape measure so that it is fairly snug, just behind the ears and under the chin at the top of the neck as shown in the image and make a note of the measurement.

Choose the collar where the smallest number in the size range is as close to the neck measurement as possible.
- For example, the measurement is 10", so choose the 9" - 11".

We use stainless steel hardware so that you don't need to worry about rust.

Every one of our collars and leads are made by hand to order in our Northumberland workshop.
Delivery Information
- Handmade to order, we aim to dispatch within 3-7 working days (Monday-Friday)
- UK Orders dispatched by Royal Mail Tracked 48, which normally takes 2-3 working days
- International Mail dispatched by Royal Mail International Tracked, then handed to local postal service in destination country. Timescales vary from country to country.
- Orders dispatched Monday - Friday
- IMPORTANT - We do not charge any VAT/taxes on orders for outside of the UK. As such international orders may be liable to customs or import duties upon arrival into the destination country.
