Choose any two shades from our wide range of contemporary leather colours and we’ll make the collar to order. For an extra pop of colour, we’ll stitch the collar with the contrasting lining colour and make the leather loop next to the buckle in the same shade.
Whichever colour of leather you choose, rest assured that it will stay put on the collar. Our leather is completely colour-fast. It won’t run or stain your dog’s coat in wet weather.
Unlike cheaper versions, this leather whippet collar is designed for both comfort and durability. High quality, soft Italian leather is wrapped around a sturdy leather core and each collar is lined with the same luxuriously soft calf leather to eliminate any danger of rubbing or chaffing.
The collar is specifically designed in a fishtail shape to be safe and supportive for your whippet’s slender, delicate neck. It measures 1¾” at the widest point, tapering to a ¾” lightweight buckle and strap.

How to measure for a Whippet collar
To measure your Whippet's neck for a leather collar, simply follow these steps:
- Wrap a soft tape measure so that it is fairly snug, just behind the ears and under the chin at the top of the neck as shown in the image and make a note of the measurement.

Choose the collar where the smallest number in the size range is as close to the neck measurement as possible.
- For example, the measurement is 10", so choose the 9" - 11".

Every one of our collars and leads are made by hand to order in our Northumberland workshop.
Delivery Information
- Handmade to order, we aim to dispatch within 3-7 working days (Monday-Friday)
- UK Orders dispatched by Royal Mail Tracked 48, which normally takes 2-3 working days
- International Mail dispatched by Royal Mail International Tracked, then handed to local postal service in destination country. Timescales vary from country to country.
- Orders dispatched Monday - Friday
- IMPORTANT - We do not charge any VAT/taxes on orders for outside of the UK. As such international orders may be liable to customs or import duties upon arrival into the destination country.
