A carabiner clasp lead perfect for urban walks
Our Colour Contrast leather carabiner clasp dog lead is perfect for everyday use, particularly for smaller dogs. Made from beautifully soft Italian leather, the outer leather has a slightly heavier feel than the inner with a choice of either textured or smooth, and when combined they make a wonderful feeling lead.
As this style of lead is a lighter weight than our regular leads, we wouldn’t recommend it for use with large breeds or dogs that pull excessively.
We have 18 colours of leather for the outer, and 28 for the inner! Whichever colours you choose, we’ll match the stitching to the inside lining to really make the leathers pop.
The leads are approximately 1.2 metres long from the tip of the handle to the clasp, which is made from airplane grade aluminium in a thoroughly modern carabiner style, which easily clips on and off your dog’s collar when needed. The leads can be made in a choice of three widths; 5/8″, 3/4″ and 1″, and we can’t stress enough just how comfortable these feel in the hand while out walking.
As with all Petiquette leather leads, there’s a stainless steel d ring fixed in place in the handle, so that while your dog is off the lead exploring, you can clip the lead around yourself, leaving your hands free for throwing balls and frisbees!
