A beautifully soft leather whippet collar featuring an antique-style butterfly concho.

You won’t have to worry about losing the butterfly concho. It will be firmly riveted into place by hand so there’s no danger of it falling out accidentally.
For your dog, this collar will be comfortable from day one. It’s fully lined with soft Italian calf leather, with carefully rounded edges to minimise the risk of rubbing or chaffing against the neck. As the collar gets older, the leather just keeps getting softer.
Unlike lower quality alternatives, each Petiquette collar is entirely colour-fast. Even in the wettest weather, the colour will stay put and won’t stain your dog’s coat.
The Mariposa measures 1¾” at its widest point and tapers to a ¾” buckle and strap. It provides exactly the right amount of support for your whippet’s slender neck, without being too bulky.

How to measure for a Whippet collar
To measure your Whippet's neck for a leather collar, simply follow these steps:
- Wrap a soft tape measure so that it is fairly snug, just behind the ears and under the chin at the top of the neck as shown in the image and make a note of the measurement.

Choose the collar where the smallest number in the size range is as close to the neck measurement as possible.
- For example, the measurement is 10", so choose the 9" - 11".

Every one of our collars and leads are made by hand to order in our Northumberland workshop.
Delivery Information
- Handmade to order, we aim to dispatch within 3-7 working days (Monday-Friday)
- UK Orders dispatched by Royal Mail Tracked 48, which normally takes 2-3 working days
- International Mail dispatched by Royal Mail International Tracked, then handed to local postal service in destination country. Timescales vary from country to country.
- Orders dispatched Monday - Friday
- IMPORTANT - We do not charge any VAT/taxes on orders for outside of the UK. As such international orders may be liable to customs or import duties upon arrival into the destination country.
